Chapter 6

Graduation

When we left these two, K2 was ready to rip Vlad's lips off (or other important body parts) for spinning up a rather inappropriate want the night before. I convinced her to sleep on it, but she was still pretty steamed the next morning. Seeing as I don't hear Vlad, and K2's side of the conversation isn't repeatable without serious censoring, I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves. I think y'all can get the idea of how things rolled.

Yeah, Vlad used the best and probably most effective method of shutting K2 up. I left them alone for a while, since they had some making up to do. I'm beginning to think that the making-up is the whole reason why K2 seems to like getting pissed at him.

Oh my, does this mean what I think it means? Has the time finally arrived?

Yep, those aspiration doodads confirm it. Vlad and K2 have finally graduated. Summa Cum Laude, both of them. I'm so proud.

And then I discovered something about Vlad that perhaps not even Mao knows. He's a thief.

A while ago I bought K2 an MP3 player. She's been demanding one for a while and I finally caved. Well, after getting back from her final, she whips it out and start jamming. Vlad stood there and stared at her a few minutes, then suddenly her MP3 player switched to his hand. He popped in the ear buds and began jamming out with K2. It was a riot to watch. After a few minutes though he turned and left, and K2 kept rocking on. Except she didn't have the MP3 player anymore. Yep, Vlad stole it. It's currently in his inventory and K2 is whining about wanting an MP3 player again.

And here is Vlad's happening graduation party. Neither he nor K2 have a lot of friends outside the dorm so there really weren't a lot of people to invite.

Clay couldn't let Vlad leave without one last good fight though.

Vlad kicked his butt, as usual, just as Selene wandered by while thinking inappropriate thoughts about the graduate.

Don't let K2 see those thought bubbles Selene. She's still here for a few hours and will give you what for over them.

So I sent everyone into the sun room I built off the kitchen for a bit of dancing. As the last few seconds of the party drift away, Vlad pulls K2 in for a little graduation smooch.

As Vlad leaves for the Free Cheese mainland, K2 and Lilaea rush out to see him off. Vlad had a good friendship going with Lilaea and they could often be found playing chess together (I never watched to see if he cheated on her)

Someone, however, is having a little problem with coping.

"Waaah! I'm all alone."

Oh you are not. You've got a whole dorm full of people behind you.

"But V's not there. He'll move back to the city and forget all about me."

You're graduating in 12 hours. He'll be at your party. I don't think he'll forget you in the short time between then and now.

"Can't I just move out now and forget the whole party thing?"

No, because I like the whole party thing.

"But I know even fewer people to invite than V."

That's fine. With 30 bazillion people living in this dorm, we can't invite more than 2 people to a party anyway. Now go to bed. Graduation will be here before you know it.

"Well... um... there's one more need I need addressed."

No. No woohoo for you until after graduation. Once again, I think you can wait 12 hours.

Shall we check out Vlad, complete with glitchy necklace, is doing post graduation? He's rocking out to K2's stolen MP3 player out in front of his new pad. Here we can see his tacky graduation suit. The actual clothes he grew up into... well... they're not bad, but they're not Vlad. It seems he stopped by Cleveland Holldum's tailor on his way back from campus.

And here's Vlad's pad. Yes, I put him in a pink house. Actually, he kind of got stuck with it because I needed to move him in somewhere with a phone so K2 could invite him to her party. This is the somewhat nicer of the two minilots I dropped to move Vlad and K2 into. K2 will be moving in to a pod home across the street.

Okay, let's head back for K2's party.

K2's party was even more happening than Vlad's... Not. *yawn* The only reason it hit "Good Time" status was...

Because of the antics of these two in the hot tub. This was one of the WTF moments brought about by ACR. Rory was at class and apparently Selene needed some right now so she snagged the next eligible dorm resident, Ray. *shakes head slowly*

Ah the traditional dip as the graduation timer runs out.

Smile for the camera folks. See what I mean about Vlad stopping at Cleveland's tailor? Both V and K2 will be going shopping shortly.

And K2 moves out in the female version of Vlad's graduation. You'd think they would have at least given her some outerwear. That's okay. It's a warmer time where she's going.

And for those curious as to how Gethane's dorm looks in winter, here's Havarti Hall under full snow. You can see the two sunrooms I've added on. I love how the snow builds up on the roof dividers but not on the clear tile of the sunrooms. K2's lemon tree is peeking out there to the far right.

And here is K2's temporary minilot house.

"This isn't a house. It's one of those damn pods from one of those 'You Pack It We Store It' places.

It's only temporary until you and Vlad get married.

"And just how long is that going to take?"

A couple days maybe.

"Damn it I want him now!"

Oh just go inside and make yourself comfortable.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

Is there something wrong K2?

"A twin bed! You bought me a house with a frelling twin bed! How am I supposed to get sweet lovins in a twin bed!"

Dammit woman, you just had sweet lovins... er... well it has been a while.

"Well how am I?! You told me I got woohoo after graduation!"

Hmm... I guess you'll just have to wait till you guys move in together and get married.

"So move me in with him right now!"

Well, I can't quite do that.

"That is NOT the right answer! You're supposed to say 'why yes K2, I'll move you in right now. He's been pining away without your sweet lovins.' That's the answer I want!"

Sorry, I can't move you until I find a new house for you guys. Right now Vlad's house only has a twin bed too.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhh! I HATE you!"

*heavy sigh*
